Dr. Lawrence Tobis

Dr. Lawrence Tobis graduated from the University of Toronto Dental School in 1983. He enjoys all aspects of his profession, but is especially interested in comprehensive reconstructive procedures, dental implants, cosmetic and general family dentistry.

Dr. Alex Pister

Dr.Alex Pister graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1983 and practiced family dentistry in partnership with Dr. Lawrence Tobis for 25 years till today. With years of experience in the planning and ongoing management of comprehensive treatment modalities, Dr. Pister provides his patients with optimal oral care in a dedicated, relaxed and supportive environment.

Pina

Pina is our office manager and treatment co-ordinator she joined our practice in 1995, and has 27 years experience in the dental field. Pina's passion is to educate her patients on their treatment options recommended by the dentist and helps to guide them through the treatment process. She is always available to answer questions or concerns you may have about your dental appointment. Her experience and warm smile always puts her patients mind at ease, she treats all her patients with great compassion and enjoys getting to know her patients. Her dedication and efforts in the office assure our patients they can always depend on her.

Sandy

Sandy is a Registered Dental Hygienist. In addition to her dental hygiene diploma, she also holds a graduate degree in health sciences from York University. Sandy has always had a passion for dentistry and truly enjoys assisting her clients in achieving their best oral health.

Janice

Janice has been in the dental field since the year 2000; she has a background in dental assisting, dental technology and dental hygiene. She has been working with our Appleday dental team since 2006 as a dental hygienist.

Janice has been recently registered as a self-initiating dental hygienist with the Canadian dental hygiene association of Ontario. Janice applies her extensive dental knowledge in her daily patient care; ensuring that patients are satisfied and educated. She has an enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things, and enjoys attending continuing education courses to expand her dental knowledge.

Gillian

Gillian is Dr. Tobis' Assistant. She qualified as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1996 at Seneca College. She has been working at Appleday Dental Care in Richmond Hill since July 1996. Gillian enjoys the wide variety of work and working as part of a team in a warm and friendly environment.

Jennifer

Jennifer is a Certified Dental Assisstant, Level II and works along side Dr. Pister. She has been a part of the Appleday Dental Care Team since January 2000. Jennifer has enjoyed learning all aspects of the office and she takes pride in educating all ages for optimal results in their oral health.

Popy

Popy is a Registered Dental Hygienist that has been working with our dental team since graduating from Georgian College, May 1991.

She enjoys attending continuing education courses to expand her knowledge and expertise, to provide quality care to her clients.

She graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in 1997 and is presently studying Homeopathic Medicine. Her passion and commitment to her clients is to provide, obtain and maintain optimal oral hygiene and overall wellness.

Morgan

Morgan is the smiley voice you hear when you call to schedule an appointment. She joined our team in October 2011. She is always happy is assist you with appointment scheduling.

Lisa

Lisa is one of the smiling faces you see when you come into the office. She joined our team in July 2011. She graduated the Dental Assisting program in October 2010. Lisa is always eager to answer any questions that you may have regarding your treatment or financials.
